K.D. Emerson

I got started writing when my mom put a pencil in my hand and told me I had to learn the ABC’s. Those first lessons where a real riot. My A’s looked like broken teepees and my Z’s looked like something Mario would have a heyday finding his way through. But Mom stuck it out (much to her later dismay) and soon I was Dick and Jane-ing to beat the band (those were early readers back in the caveman era).

I “published” my first “book” in first grade after spending the previous summer writing and re-writing the blessed tome.

I am just a writer who loves to write and entertain people. Hope you enjoyed reading. I would love to hear from you. What makes you tick? What is one of your favorite stories about your childhood? What is your favorite book of all time?

S.E. Meyers (Stephanie Myers)

I am an author. It’s what I do. It’s what I want to do. It’s not the only thing that I do, but, it’s what I want to be when I grow up.

Stephanie was born in San Antonio, Texas and spent most of her youth in Germany. She joined the military and traveled the world…somewhat. She lived in Japan, spent time in India, and currently resides in Sacramento, California.

She is surrounded by her close friends, family, and animals. She lives with her oldest daughter (Illeana), youngest daughter (Kathryn), Punky & Snoopy (their Chorky’s), and their cat (Miss Kitty). She misses her son, Gavin, terribly. He currently lives in Georgia.

Stephanie has written for many years. She started writing songs at the age of ten. Her writing progressed into short stories, poetry, screenplays, and more recently, her novel Dark Revelation.

While Dark Revelation is of the YA genre, her other WIP’s (Works in Progress) are more adult in nature – and no – not that kind of adult.

Stick around, read her blog, follow her on twitter and most of all — read her books!

She is currently working on the second book in the Dark Revelation series.

Nadia Kilrick

Nadia Kilrick is a Florida native who finds tranquility in the simple life of the Deep South. She believes there is no better place to contemplate life’s journey than sitting beside a slow moving creek shaded by mighty moss-draped oaks. It’s there that dreams burst free from within the chasms of the human heart.

Nadia has written fiction since childhood. The busyness of life and raising a family slowed the progress of her writing for two decades. When her children moved away, she began writing articles for the web. While writing articles related to gardening, family, self-sufficiency and do-it-yourself projects her passion for fiction writing quietly stirred. Now she writes fiction full time. Thriller, suspense/mystery and paranormal are her favorite genres to write. When reading, she reaches for psychological thrillers, true crime, mystery/suspense, horror, paranormal, western and historical fiction.

Dan Armsden

Pic for MKSPDan has been a story teller for over 50 years; sharing his stories with hundreds, from children to seniors – stories of a young boy growing up in Northern Minnesota during the 50’s and 60’s He is a mystery writer with a flair for adventure and romance.

At the age of eight, Dan wrote his first story on Birch Bark paper that he peeled from a Birch Tree. He went to a school of 250 students, but tried to convince his parents that he didn’t need to go. Since that didn’t work, he sat in class day dreaming about living off the land, going hunting or fishing when he got home from school, and most of all spending time with his dog, a full blooded Alaskan Husky. Those daydreams grew into written words.

At nine years old he was writing two and three page stories about his daily adventures. By age eighteen, the young man wrote his first non-fiction adventure. In 1969 Dan wrote his first fiction adventure and a romance novel that sat unfinished for forty years.

From 1958 to 2009, DK (as his mother called him) had written twelve full novels, many short stories, and a box full of thoughts and ideas, all to sit in a Banana Box until just a few years ago.
In 2010 Dan met an Iowa based published author that took some interest in his writing, and encouraged him to find a good editor and submit his works.

Dan and his wife Sandy celebrated 44 years of marriage on March 25, 2014 on the Mississippi River. He grew up near the mighty river and wanted to return. The happily married couple came home with wonderful memories and Dan has a new mystery to write.
